Congress Approves Purchase of Canadian Drugs
Congress has approved legislation allowing prescription drugs purchased in Canada to be brought into the US by US citizens, as long as they have only a 90 day supply.

The new legislation only applies to drugs obtained by actually traveling to Canada. Internet ordering of prescription drugs and mail order drugs from Canada would still be illegal.
Prescription drug prices in Canada are controlled by the government and many sell for up to 80% less than in the US.
